This might just be Mike's best work yet. "The Life" is a compilation of songs Mike has written or fallen in love with along the road these last few years. That road has led to many tropical and Latin inspired locations, and you can hear it in the music. The flavors lead from "Low Key" in the Florida Keys through Mexico, Belize, and Central America and blend seamlessly into tales of swashbuckling characters from all over the Caribbean. There's plenty of rum soaked, beer drenched corners to curl up in a hammock and let your imagination whisk you away on a warm island breeze. Dive in, mix up a drink, and enjoy "the life"....it's the only one we've got!

Southern Rockin' Country with a twist of lime, a splash of salt water, and distilled in the backwoods of Tennessee...yep, that about sums it up!
Mike has spent well over a decade on the road-touring the US, Caribbean,
Mexico and Central America-and building a grass roots fanbase for his original music. With story teller songs about life and love, lyrical tales from the unique people he's met along the way, and of course plenty of summertime "drinkin' at the lake tunes" with an island-inspired twist, there's something in a Mike Nash show for everyone to relate to.
Mike's music has been used in television programs on stations such as GAC and CMT and he is one of the featured performers in the 2016 Mailboat Records release of "Parrotheads the Movie". He also appears for a musical cameo in the Hollywood feature film "Chasing The Sun" -both available on Amazon Prime.
Mike Nash has performed on the stages of many of the world's most popular artists. From legends such as Lynyrd Skynrd, Charlie Daniels Band and Jimmy Buffett- to classic country artists like Aaron Tippin, Neil McMcoy, and Pure Prarie League-right up to modern day stars such as Brantley Gilbert, Blackberry Smoke, Eli Young Band and Justin Moore. Other notables include David Allen Coe, Eddie Money, Rory Feek.
One of his most exciting achievements came in 2012 when the University of Tennessee debuted the video for the Mike's rocked up, barn burning version of "Rockytop" on the jumbo-tron at Neyland Stadium to a sold out crowd of over 102,000. The song went on to smash radio charts and is one of the most popular versions in America being played on NBC's Sunday Night Football for millions of viewers in celebration of Peyton Manning's record breaking touchdown pass in October of 2014. Most recently, Mike was awarded 2021 Male Vocalist of the Year by the Trop Rock Music Association.
